28th. November, 1939.

1 South Bank,
Northendon Road,
Sale,
Manchester.

For the attention of W.E. Goodwin.

Dear Sirs,

With reference to your charge forming device 16510/39 and in answer to your letter dated 24.11.39.

This matter has been passed to the writer for further attention, and if you are in agreement we would suggest the following.

You mention in your last letter that you would be willing to supply a suitable model for trial on our particular engine. This would be a 42 m {Mr Moon / Mr Moore} /m carburetter having two hole fixing with 2.00" centres. This we would suggest trying on the test bench for direct comparative specific consumption figures.

In the meantime, we will return the sample first submitted.

Yours faithfully,
FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
