I was interested to note in one of Olley's recent reports that when he went to Cadillac's he observed that they had to get entirely new equipment for all the work they were doing on the Allison engine.

In other words there is little in common between making the modern automobile in quantities and a 1,000 horse liquid cooled aviation engine.

Unless Blackstone has managed to find a way this is rather depressing news for Crewe.
