To enable controlled damper governor unit to be fitted. Report of Experimental Test. It is possible that in the near future controlled dampers will be fitted to this chassis, and we anticipate that they may also be required on already completed cars. It is necessary to alter the hand brake lever position to accomodate the governor unit; this is rather a big modification when carried out on a complete car. X N5360. Drawing No. F.59734.
