RE INSTRUCTION BOOK LEAFLETS.

We attach herewith copies of two leaflets,
namely, one entitled "Carburetter Petrol Filter" and the
other "Tappet Adjustment of Rolls-Royce Chassis Engines".

The leaflet entitled "Carburetter Petrol Filter"
should be issued to all 20 h.p. chassis owners commencing
with Chassis No.GXL. 1. A copy should also be issued in
future with each of our 20 h.p. chassis Instruction Books No7.

The leaflet "Tappet Adjustment" is intended only
for the use of the Repair Dept., for sending by them to
owners whose cars have been in for an over-haul involving
removal of the cylinder head.

It is perhaps worth while for us to point out
that in our latest books, namely, 20 h.p. Chassis No.7, and
40/50 h.p. Chassis No.4 (the latter will be available in a
few days time) this instruction is already incorporated.

There are 250 copies of this leaflet in the
Stationery Stores for the Repair Dept's use.

The Repair Dept. will nodoubt consider the
advisibility of despatching copies to Cricklewood and other
depots, and instruct D/BP accordingly.

Att. 2 Leaflets.
