The performance of Valve Springs (HS.477/E58525) for the 20/25HP model.

We have tried a number of the Valve Springs HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}477 (E58525) and we find they are a very definite benefit in overcoming a rattle which occurs at about 17/18 m.p.h. This rattle is not affected by the brake.

We do not find the use of these springs prevents us attaining a speed of 60 m.p.h. on third gear.

Our experience has been confirmed in the Repair Dept. where they have used these springs to a very definite advantage on two cars which have been complained of by customers.
