Here are some criticisms from Sclater Booth and Jack Barclay, on the Bentley, which include some caustic comments on the body.

I do not propose to answer this at length at the present juncture, but I believe that the footroom is restricted on the production bodies because Sales would not order the right type of frnnt seat where the feet can be inserted under the back.

Ward seems to have aggravated the criticisms by arranging the back seat so that it is an inclined plane, facing forwards.
