C. to Mr. Hall, A/C's.

re 20-HP Chassis 41-G-5. Schmidt.

With further reference to our memo EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/Thn7/H1.5.23 re above, we give below extract of memo we have received from Sales Department (Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}) in this connection.

"You might draw the attention of the department concerned to the fact that although we asked for a report after examination of the broken parts in our memo Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}1/BM28.12.22, and followed this up on one or two occasions, we have never succeeded in obtaining any report whatsoever.

We have explained to BJ. that after an interval of four and a half months or so since the damage occurred, we do not feel that it would be justifiable, or good policy, to write and endeavour to throw the blame on Schmidt, who is one of our very best overseas Agents.

The invoices are therefore returned duly certified by BJ."
