-3- Contd. Then the battery was charged to thee characteristic and the maximum sustained P.D. was 15.1. On discharge 58.5 ampere-hours were obtained, and on a repetition of charge to the characteristic, a discharge of 59.5 ampere-hours was obtained. Subsequently the battery was fully charged at a constant current of 6.0 amperes, and a discharge capacity of 56.2 ampere-hours was obtained. Hence, generally speaking, it would appear that a battery is satisfactorily charged by charging to such a characteristic. EFC. | ||
