CONTINUATION 1.

Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.

this there is a great deal to be said for having the connections burnt together and so get rid of the possible corrosion trouble on small parts, but that is a matter for you to decide on.

Another point to which we would like to draw your attention is the question of putting the cells direct into a teak case, and thus saving space, weight and money, and in our patent duplex bolt arrangement for dealing with the mounting of such battery, we think we have a thing which should be brought to your notice.

The enclosed instruction label shows the principle and it has proved extraordinarily successful in practice.

If you are good enough to pass us the official order for 2 batteries as you suggest, perhaps you might like one in one of these special teak cases so that you can more closely examine it.

We will wait with interest your reply to the various questions we have asked.

Yours faithfully,
PETO & RADFORD.
