the losses are small: the car length has increased by 3 inches and the sun visor usefulness diminishes by 2 inches due to a more sloping screen and reduced peak.

As already stated, ahe alterations, apart from the region around the rear bumper, do not extend to functioning parts of the body: the door shuts, hinges, locks and weather seals remain intact and except for the screen rebate flange and wiper spindle angle, so does the scuttle and all its complexities.

The effect of these styling changes on the Burma/Tibet programme will depend to some extent on whether or not it is considered necessary to view a rectified full scale model before releasing drawings to P.S.C.

My own view is that drawings could be released as soon as they are done and that the full scale mock-up should be rebuilt in parallel. This assumes that we shall like what we see when the mock-up is complete and we shall not again wish to alter it but instead make use of it for full scale styling development of ancillary items.

If the styling changes here referred to are now to go forward, I suggest that a meeting should be held to decide on the priorities for drawing and dates for completion.
