13th January 1938.

W.G. Devereux, Esq.,
High Duty Alloys, Ltd.,
Trading Estate,
SLOUGH. Bucks.

Dear Devereux,

I have had various telephonic communications with your Secretary regarding my visit to High Duty Alloys, but his last message was that you would be at the Factory on Friday. I am, therefore, proposing to come down to Slough by road and hope to arrive about 11.0.a.m. to-morrow, Friday.

I am bringing with me Mr. Maddocks, one of our Staff Chiefs on the chassis side, who is particularly anxious to see your Factory, and hope this will be agreeable to you.

I understand that you will be leaving Slough in the early afternoon, but this will be quite satisfactory to us as we want to avoid getting fog-bound on the return journey.

Yours sincerely,
