BUMPER PADS ON DUMB IRONS.

Herewith we send N.Sch.3044 and 3045 shewing the pads for bumpers applied respectively to the front and rear dumb iron.

Mr. Olley has approved of the height from the ground for the bumper given by this position and also of the alteration from .375 to .312 bolts. In other respects the fixing is the S.A.E. standard and we now have to apply to it some English types of bumper for use in this country. We have also to provide a suitable cap for use when there is no bumper.
