File Please receive herewith the following schemes :- F.CD.1304 Amal One Shot Fastener. F.CD.1320 Side Plate Suspension and Top Plate Catch. The above schemes shew the Bentley 5. bonnet which is of the Rover type held in position by Amal one shot fasteners. The bonnet side plates are hung in position from two clips at the top outer edges, located on brackets attached to the radiator shell and dashboard; the Amal one shot fastener similar to the ones used on 30.G.Vll is located by hooks on the bonnet valance strip. The top plates are clamped down by a simple one shot Amal fastener with two hooks at each end of the bonnet to ensure loading at the ends. The Amal people should be instructed as soon as possible to produce a few sets of these fasteners to our requirements in order that we can get this bonnet tried out experimentally, as it is urgently required for production.
