Acceleration tests comparing a standard carburetter with one fitted with an air silencer.

Acceleration tests were taken with both air
silencer and standard carburetters fitted. These show that
the standard carburetter gives slightly better results. -

Average figures Standard Carburetter C.O. closed. 10-30.= 7.73secs.

Average figures Air Silencer Carb. C.O. closed. 10-30.= 8.33secs.
