X4477 To Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} c. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} Hsl/MJ10.1.31. X.4291. X.4477. X.4520. DIMMING SWITCH FOR LEFT-HAND CHASSIS. Replying to your memo Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}3/E9.1.31. R.R.A.I. are anticipating the left-hand cars to be delivered fitted with a Bosch foot operated dimming switch. Although they do not propose to use the third lamp scheme, they use this same switch to operate the bi-filament dimming device which they use. This scheme was fitted to 25-EX car which I took to U.S.A. That car was fitted with American lamps, bi-filament dimming and foot operated Bosch switch. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
