3¼" Bore Engine for Rationalised Programme.

Will you please arrange for Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/McS. to look into the modifications necessary to convert the Wraith engine into a 3¼" bore.

The piston dimensions of the 3½-litre Bentley should be followed exactly.

We should like, if possible, to use the existing head and get the increased ratio by a raised crown piston. The general objective is to make the minimum number of modifications to the existing patterns.
