The Car has had to be held up, owing to the front anchorage to frame of the rear road spring coming adrift. The bolts had worked loose, two were lost. The bracket was on the point of leaving the frame altogether. The holes in the frame were in a mess having become elongated through chattering. We have had to open them out and fit washers into the frame. One bolt hole, we were able to enlarge to 3/8" and fit that size bolt. To strengthen the other holes, we have fitted a plate inside the frame.. The running board stay being utilized to help to hold it. It does not seem right for the four bolts to have to take the strain of this bracket. I was under the impression that the bracket was a close fitting to the frame, and the frame really took the strain. The four bolts holding it in position.

We enclose a sketch of the failure, also one of the Body bracket reported on.

We have checked the Ignition. It is correct and even on all Cylinders. The timing is 1.2" on the clutch case as marked.
