contd :- -3- in its full lift position all that portion below the narrowest section for air flow which it forms with the choke is cut away. We shall then have a restrictor giving the same choke space but offering less restriction to air flow in the intake. As an alternative we could cutaway the float chamber walls and feed the diffuser jet by means of a separate float chamber. We will report the result of these tests as soon as they are completed.
