Cyl - G 10622 -5- June 10, 1922 This is founded on following distribution: Front Wheels Rear Wheels Chassis (full tanks & battery ) 1785 lbs. 1785 lbs. Less unsprung weight - counting 2/3 of front springs and 1/6 of rear springs (320 lbs.) (650 lbs.) Sprung Weight 1465 lbs. 1135 lbs. Spare wheels (80 lbs. each) 110 lbs. 50 lbs. Passengers 20% 80% Body (inc.lamps,wings,etc.) 40% 60% This springing has been in operation for over a year now, and we have not had a complaint of the riding qualities of our cars, or had to change a spring, in that time. Since we have only sold about 5 bare chassis since we started, you will see that fitting standard bodies in this way cuts down the complications of ordering springs and the general overhead expense to a very great extent.
