For the attention of Mr.A.E.Palmer.

Dear Sirs,

Phantom III E.E.C.42 Carburettors.

This is to inform you of a modification required to the above carburettors.

It is now proposed to fit high pressure pumps in the frame, which have a maximum lift of 98 inches.

In view of this it is suggested that the smaller float needle seatings of .130 be available on the 19th inst. when the high pressure pumps will be ready for production.

The size quoted is believed to be your original recommendation.

The following sizures were passed on to your Mr. Fisher
.180 seating at 100 pts.hr loss of fuel level .250".
.130 seating at 100 pts.hr loss of fuel level .350".

Flooding is difficult to overcome with the present seating of .180.

The smaller seating of .130 is apparently O.K.

We would welcome your comments and recommendation on the above.

Yours faithfully,
