BY. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} FROM DA. {Bernard Day - Chassis Design} X235 C. to HS. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} P. 2. SHOCK DAMPERS. DA {Bernard Day - Chassis Design} 1/M7.3.31. x.7520. X.235. Herewith we send N. sch. 3251. shewing the spring loaded piston as instructed in R1/M24231. We shew an alternative method of making the piston which saves some weight, and may be slightly simpler. It will be seen that we are work- ing on the bronze of the piston itself. If it is found necessary to fit pads it is evident that it can be done. DA. {Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
