Herewith we send N. sch. 3251. shewing the
spring loaded piston as instructed in R1/M24231. We shew an
alternative method of making the piston which saves some weight,
and may be slightly simpler. It will be seen that we are work-
ing on the bronze of the piston itself. If it is found
necessary to fit pads it is evident that it can be done.
