Dear Oy,

Delighted to hear you are coming to Vauxhall's. I think you are wise provided no scrapping starts over here.
Mind you let us know when you are arriving, and come and see us.
We have been told great things about the new G.M. Babbitt, which I understand is called 14-B. Could you tell me how to get hold of some and whether we ought to send bearing shells over to be white metalled in America, or whether we could get hold of the material with specifications as to how to use it ?
We have got an experimental car running about with torsion rods and it makes a nice clean looking job.
We have got our skid pan.

Yours sincerely,
