R.{Sir Henry Royce}(to Ld. Camdeck) C.C. Cd. C.C. Ed.{J. L. Edwards} C.C. Ms. c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} +9940 Rg{Mr Rowledge}5/W9. 4. 24 Referring to my memo of Monday last (Rg{Mr Rowledge}1/W7.4.24), E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} and Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} have visited us, and I think we have gone over the ground usefully. I am afraid some of my aero work is rather getting in arrears and that my general correspondence is in an even worse state. I hope to send you a note in a day or two with regard to the operation of the agreed scheme. We are taking this matter as a very urgent experimental job, as when we have the agreed scheme working satisfactorily with the correct pedal pressure, practically all the experimental work that is necessary on M.DES.60 will have been done, in fact I think we should be able to make M.DES.60 right, so that it should require practically no modification.
