1204 Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}4/MH.{M. Huckerby} 5th. June, 1939. W.Martin-Hurst, Esq., The British Thermostat Co. Ltd., Windmill Road, Sunbury-on-Thames, MIDDX. Dear Mr. Martin-Hurst, Replying to your letter of May 31st., we have a 25/30 engine which we think the Administration might agree to giving to the Weybridge Cottage Hospital. It would give between 50 and 60 horse power at 1500 r.p.m. It would be thoroughly reliable. You would have to arrange for a governor to be rigged up on it yourselves. A similar type of engine is in use by the Birmingham Gas Co; you could find out from them exactly how they have done it. We are so busy experimentally, that we cannot undertake any special work of this kind. Yours sincerely, | ||
