For the attention of Mr. Porter.

Dear Sirs,

This is to confirm our conversation of last Thursday.

(1) For one pair of 25 HP. front springs No.172 we require -
(a) New top plates having rolled eyes.
(b) New 2nd plates having less deep oil grooves and no transverse grooving.

One spring was left with you, the other will be despatched to-day. Please return the broken parts of these springs.

(2) For the Bentley front springs No.181 ordered in our Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.8/KW.22.4.36, and the 25 HP. front springs No.172 ordered in our Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.15/KW.21.4.36, to have -

Less deep oil grooves and no transverse grooving for the 2nd plate.

We are arranging for an order to be issued for the new plates for the 25 HP. springs.
