R [signature] Y6116 WSP Is this any good EXTRACT FROM LETTER RECEIVED NOVEMBER 12th, 1935 ''On Friday last, I tried out your FOG LAMP, coming from Sheffield to Nelson, at night, we came back at 25 miles an hour, when other cars were standing still. The triangular section of the road, lit by our beam, gave us a good view for quite three or four car lengths. We stopped to test out the lights at the worst patch, and put on our Head Lamps. It would have been impossible to proceed. I AM GLAD I GOT YOUR LAMP, IT IS WORTH TEN TIMES MORE THAN YOU ARE ASKING FOR IT.'' (J.W.H.; N.) The original letter can be seen, at any time, at the Ship and Royal Garage, Ltd., Lytham. | ||
