| To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} + 262 Ha/GR.{George Ratcliffe}11/KW.12.5.36. B-35-AE. List of Work Required. Radiator Cowling. Cut in half horizontally. Make new top half and secure to radiator shell and meet contour of bottom half with 3/8" gap. Overlap gap with leather strip. Bonnet Side Panels. Overhaul to match flush and prevent wedging on brackets through flexing. Front Wing Stays. Lift to clear for 19" x 6.50" tyres and clear local cowling for both max. steering locks. Rear Axle Buffers. Increase these 1/2" to reduce buffer clearance. Hydraulic Dampers. Overhaul both front and rear. Max. load on fronts at present insufficient. Hartford Dampers. Change hand wing nuts on front and fit hexagon. Fit box spanner to suit. Body Hinges. Strengthen with plates where possible. Cooling Vents. Flatten as much as possible for ground clearance. | ||
