Continued memo regarding adjustments to correct late operation, mentioning potential issues with soldering and cutouts, and seeking clarification from a Mr. Olley.

that some of the vases referred to of late operation are due
to this cause and could be improved as suggested by Mr. Olley
by altering the adjustment, even if this be found to be
soldered, provided this is done by a properly competent person.
Care should be taken, as the cutout is liable to derangement.

We do not quite understand the way in which
Mr. Olley considered our note EFC5/T25.1Q20, to be at
variance with Mr. Platford's instructions. If, however,
the matter is not cleared up by what we have said, we
shall be pleased to hear again from Mr. Olley on this
point.
