1375 To K {Mr Kilner} /KC. from Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Gry. {Shadwell Grylls} Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Gry. {Shadwell Grylls} 4/AP.25.2.38 RUDGE WITWORTH WHEELS. As you may know, we are most likely going to fit Rudge Witworth type wheels on the 25/30. Up to now we have not solved problems of clunks on torque reversals when man-oeuvring, due to the fact that no amount of hammering will get the wheel tight enough. We should be glad, therefore, if you would let us have your experience of these wheels, fitted on the larger of the old type Bentley cars. Did you have a lot of customers' complaints of knocking wheels, and if so, what did you do about them.? Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Gry. {Shadwell Grylls} | ||
