Dear Hope,

Here is a photograph of yourself taken on board the "Berengaria".

My Father-in-law's cigars are in such bad condition that I cannot go and see him now. I think you might have one clean with the specification of the conditioning chamber!

If you will come to Derby and see me you can have a look at the photographs and decide which of the others you want. I have got several hundred.

I understand that Lapping saw you the other day, otherwise I should have thought that you were in Georgia.
