SECRET. Headquarters, Central Landing Establishment, Royal Air Force, Ringway, Nr. Manchester. CL/S.1406/2/S. Your Ref. Rn{Mr Robinson}/12/R.{Sir Henry Royce} 19th February 1941. Dear Robotham, There are some slight changes in the Requirement Memorandum again, the suggestion in para. 8 may turn out to be unnecessary in a winch of your construction. 2. Para. 5 is to provide for the speeds of these things increasing. If you can leave room for a bigger drum which could be constructed and fitted at a later date if necessary, it would be a good thing. Yours sincerely Mungo Buxton Mr. Robotham, Messrs Rolls Royce Ltd., Derby. | ||
