Dear Sirs, We are in receipt of your letter of the 19th inst with further reference to air filters, and are pleased to note that these two AF3N size have proved very efficient on test with S.U. carburettors. As requested, we are forwarding you invoice for these. The retail price is 20/- each, and we are allowing you a discount of 45%. [Handwritten note: Retained in Gen Dept] Should you, however, wish to purchase quantities of this air filter, we shall be pleased to quote you a cut figure on hearing from you as to the approximate quantity likely to be required. Regarding the wire wool filtering medium, as we have this made up into pads of various sizes, it is necessary that we should know the size of the container, and for your guidance, there is approximately 500 cubic inches of wire wool to the pound, (say 16 inches diameter by 2 1/2 inches thick) the filtering medium being in a dry condition.
