-4- The faults common to all these bodies can be summarised thus :- WINGS. Damage to paintwork due to use of thin aluminium with no stone guard. DOORS. Much too heavy and thick. WINDOWS. Rattle generally if of the framed glass variety. Driver's window always rattles. FITTINGS. for window winders and door locks rattle. Apart from this the bodies have withstood hard work very well; they are very much strengthened and insulated from chassis shocks by the R.R. subframe. HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AJL. | ||
