Mr. Hives from GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} X457 26.10.32. STEERING WOBBLES. Road Spring (front) 140 per min. Wobbles period 270 " " approx. Report on 5-EX Car steering with vertical pivots - friction in steering column. With straight side steering rod, slight wobbles can be got when ball ends are just slack. When tightened up, slack in cross steering tube can be felt, but no wobbles can be developed. With standard side steering tube fitted with four springs, wobbles will build up on their own and become very violent. GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} | ||
