Mills Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} Mr. Coverley By/SC By/TH (1) As soon as the LC drawing is received, two unmounted prints are made, of which one is returned to St.{Capt. P. R. Strong} Margaret's, and one is sent for the Exp. Department. Mr. Clark. Thus the Exp. Dept. know beforehand what they will have to do. (2) The D.O. makes details, and orders forgings through the O.O. (2A) The D.O. submits the details for checking limits. (3) As each detail is finished, it is compared with the LC drawing to check the dimensions. The LC drawing is made, we consider, with sufficient care to avoid anything worse than the very occasional scrapping of a part, from thus dispensing with the making of an arrangement at this stage.
