6.50 X 17 TYRES ON BENTLEY 'M' SERIES.

It was agreed at the Conference last Tuesday that the paragraph on the fitting of chains in the Instruction Book should be modified.

This should now read:-

"In the event of chains being necessary they should be fitted to the rear wheels only. The chains should be of the special Bentley type obtainable from Bentley Motors Ltd."

The reason for doing this is that if fitted to the near side front wheel they will foul the shock absorber on full lock, and it has been decided that they are quite unnecessary on front wheels.

Parsons have already supplied us with a pair of chains to suit the new size of Bentley tyre like the special Rolls-Royce variety which we obtained from them last Winter. } Hn{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders}'s copy only
