LUCAS FUSE HOLDERS. X.2515 I again bring forward the above as a serious weakness in our present system, and we are having continual trouble of failure of the system which we find on investigation is due to the bad connection of the fuse in the holder. Although I have complained of this on various occasions, there does not seem to be any definite move with regard to improvement in this respect on the latest fuse boxes received. As it would appear that we shall have to continue using Lucas fittings of this description for some time, could not your suggestion that the modification could be made by us on these boxes be applied to advantage? I am anxious to bring to your attention the fact that we are having continual trouble in this respect, but I am not complaining of each individual case, as all our various Inspectors and Testers are cognisant of this weakness and either anticipate a failure, or are able to correct the failure immediately it occurs or is complained of.
