Ltd., Wakefield House, 30/32, Cheapside, LONDON, E.C.2. Dear Mr. Evans, We are sending you under separate cover, four samples of Wakefield's "Castrolite" oil used in a Bentley car which has just come back from a test on the Continent. A by-pass filter was used on the engine throughout the test, the element being changed immediately after Sample B. The mileages at which the samples were taken are:- A - 7,036 B - 12,383 C - 1,023 - after fitting a new cartridge. D - 4,868 - after fitting a new cartridge. We should be very grateful if you could let us know the percentage and nature of foreign matter in each of these samples.
