309d Copy sent to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}, and E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Cricklewood, Oct. 26th, 1936. 35-EX. We fitted the second scheme of increased lubrication to the rockers but in both cases we have had to solder up the valve end of the rocker to overcome smoking while idling. Fitting these schemes has delayed the car but we are running the daily traffic mileage. We are not running two shifts as br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} raised many objections therefore I sent Rose back and have got Waller on the complaint job at Kingsbury. We expect to be able to run the car from Lillie Hall by the middle of this week. G.W.Hancock. | ||
