Will you please note it was agreed at the conference with Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} that in future we are to supply a rigid specification for all electrical parts manufactured outside these works, including cables etc., and the suppliers are to be asked to furnish a Certificate with every batch of items delivered, certifying that they have been made and tested to this specification. As a further check on this the Electrical Laboratory are to be handed at regular intervals samples of items bought out, for check test on the excellence of production and conformity to the said specification. We should like these arrangements to start operating as soon as we have provided specifications for the items in question. | ||
