To EFC. from Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} X8783 Hm{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}3/W5.2.26. We give below copy of report received from our Head Electrician. No doubt you would like to examine the Cut-out on 118-MC :- "I should like to draw your attention to the cut-out points fitted to both the 20HP. and the New PhantomCodename for PHANTOM I. These points are not standing up to their work. As an example Capt. Burt's New PhantomCodename for PHANTOM I 118-MC is in the Shop, and has done between 7,000 and 8,000 miles, and these points are badly pitted. I feel almost convinced this trouble is the beginning of dynamo troubles, especially on the 20HP. chassis. I have not made any attempt to clean 118-MC's points up, have left them for any further investigation you would wish" (Signed) G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} Strong. Hm.{Capt. W.
