Dear Sir,

Re: Dashboards.

We send herewith blueprint of F.CD.563 shewing the arrangement of the units on both sides of the sheet metal dashboard, which is used on B.5 and B.50 type chassis. We send this to shew you the position of the radio set and the car heater, accommodation for which will be provided on all cars, whether they are fitted or not. The car heater is that which we have already given you a design for, and the radio set is a standard Philco.

We suggest that on your dummy chassis you should provide dummies of the heater and the radio, in order that none of the fittings on the back of the instrument board may interfere with them, as was so in the case of 1.B.5. You will also notice we show the position of the screen wiper motor.

Yours faithfully
FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.

Car Project Office.
