X57x3 X6027. July 20th 1921. EFC. PB.10. X.4298. REPORT ON STARTER MOTOR TESTS X.543. X.3082. CARRIED OUT ON CAR 4-EX. X.3764. X.4399. Tests were made with two starter motors 1. A standard motor. 2. A standard motor with the field coils two swseries two parallel. In each case tests were made with the engine cold which was then allowed to run for a time and heat up, when the tests were repeated. The temperature condition of the engine for each test is given by the temperature of the cylinders, and water in the radiator. Owing to the inaccessibility of the motor terminals, the voltage was taken across the battery terminals. The results are as follows :- Contd. P R 235A (100 T) (S) H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 159. 11-8-20 G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 2800 | ||
