GOSHAWK II. ROAD SPRINGS. X4261

We recommend that on all Goshawk II. cars we should fit gaiters to the road springs. We have three experimental cars fitted with gaiters and four without - the average results show that we get better average springing on those fitted with gaiters.

We believe the latest shock absorber connections for the Goshawk will prove reliable and will not wear.

We would recommend that we use the Wefco type gaiters. We have fitted a considerable number of these to 40/50 chassis springs and they have proved successful. The gaiters would be the ordinary straight-forward spring gaiter and would not intend to enclose the spring shackles.
