Lighting Dynamo. X295 T. Y. M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} 1600 3100 Section Dynamo tested on bench works satisfactory except mercury cut out does not seem reliable regarding exact speed when it cuts in and out. Does not cut in, until dynamo has reached considerable over coming in speed at same time when speed of dynamo is retarded same does not cut out until the speed is below that at which it should cut out and at times allows a slight reverse current to pass through the machine from the batteries. However this does not cause any trouble. When starting up cold there is about half an ampere more than shown on their curve in catalogue but reaching normal temperature there is half ampere less than curve. Externally tested on case temp was about 30 degrees at which it keeps constant. Under all conditions brushes sparkless. Noted. | ||
