H.R. 835A (500 T) (S.D. 408. 26.4.17.) Bm. 2/158/13. To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} from EFC. EFC1/T1.2.19. 1st. February 1919. X.3362 - LIGHTING INSTALLATION AT W.W. 6 Yours E1/G31119 to hand. We have received a copy of Mr. Royce's letter to the Tudor Accumulator Company and have taken it from this that he is obtaining a suitable battery for the installation. Regarding the ammeter we will have one of these taken out of one of the "Liberty" sets and forwarded to Mr. Royce early next week. Regarding switches and fuses, I am sending you herewith two types of fuse box and i might mention that there is also a rectangular type similar in size to the half cylindrical type sent. Any of these three fuses is obtainable, but I cannot get hold of anything smaller and neater, as the car lighting people do not seem disposed to supply any fittings separately. I am also sending for your consideration a single type knife switch which type I thought Mr. Royce might like to use on his engine room switchboard. I think I can obtain some of these and it was possible to obtain double pole switches of this type, but it is doubtful whether I can get hold of any now. You may remember I have three double pole two-way switches of this type on my table at home and they are very satisfactory and capable of carrying a relatively large current without heating, added to which, we think they are rather neat.
