To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from R.{Sir Henry Royce} X8920 R3/M24.11.25. RE. SPEED ON BROOKLANDS. X. 788 X. 8920 X. 8771 The London to Edinburgh car of about 1911. I seem to remember did 78¼ miles on Brooklands, now with greater H.P. we only do 74. The former must have been better for windage. I think it would be good to try EAC.1. on Brook-lands as soon as it is doing well. It would be so good to test if it held the road, etc. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
