ACCIDENT - 4-G-11 CAR.

We give below report of accident in connection with the above car :-

"I regret to report that an accident occurred on Monday Nov. 24th, 1924, shortly after leaving the Works with 20 HP. car 4-G-11 for the purpose of taking same to West WitteringHenry Royce's home town. At 12-10 p.m. while passing through Normanton by the "Norman Arms", just as the radiator of the car came level with the back of a cart coming in the opposite direction a boy suddenly darted out from behind the cart and across the front of the car and was knocked down by the near-side. The boy when picked up, was found to be badly bruised about the legs and mouth and was immediately taken to his home in the car.

The car was pulled up in less than its own length - the speed being 10 m.p.h.

The boys name is -

Harry Harris,
12 Chatham St.{Capt. P. R. Strong},
Normanton.

Mrs. Claxton,
16 Society Place,
Normanton
witnessed the accident and stated that it was the boys own fault.
