To R.{Sir Henry Royce} from EFC. c. to BJ. EFC2/T13.10.17. X. 2981 - INDICATOR DIAGRAM APPARATUS In view of what we are doing in connection with the Dalby-Watson optical indicator and the possibility of using this for indicating our engines, may we hold up the above experiment in abeyance? The instructions on this have been put through and the work is just started. As the amount of work on this job will be rather considerable, perhaps it would be best to leave it over for a week or two until we see how matters develop as regards the Dalby-Watson indicator. We have received from Messrs. Cussons a quatation for the Dalby-Watson indicator and have also arranged with their representive that he should come down here on Monday, and inspect an engine with a view to giving suggestions as to the best way of fixing up the indicator. They will then send us the necessary prints to enable us to get out a rig for this purpose. EFC. | ||
