To HRS. from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wst. c.c. to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} c.c. to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} New Type Delco-Remy Horns. We have received for test a pair of chromium plated horns similar to the Lucas, from the Delco-Remy Company. These horns are lighter than the Lucas and take less current to operate, but they are not arranged with the loud and soft tone which is a special feature of the Lucas Horns. Will you please arrange to fit these horns tochassis 39-EX. arranging to wire them direct to the steering column switch, not using the Lucas relay switch at all. Instead of the Lucas switch the Delco-Remy relay should be used as shown on a diagram which we can hand to T.T. when he is ready to do the wiring. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wst. | ||
